Glass fiber also has some applications in the field of hydrogen energy, mainly involving the following aspects:
    1. Hydrogen storage: Glass fiber is widely used in the manufacture of hydrogen storage containers. Because fiberglass has high strength and good corrosion resistance, it can be used to make the shell of hydrogen storage tanks. These tanks are usually high-pressure vessels that need to be able to withstand high pressures and ensure the safe storage of hydrogen.
    2. Fuel cell stack separator: Glass fiber is used as a separator material in the fuel cell stack. A fuel cell is a device that reacts hydrogen with oxygen to produce electricity, with a separator separating the anode and cathode. Glass fiber materials in this application can provide chemical stability, thermal stability and ionic conductivity to ensure efficient and stable operation of the fuel cell.
    3. Hydrogen transportation pipelines: Glass fiber composite materials can be used to manufacture pipelines for hydrogen transportation. Due to its corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, fiberglass pipes are able to withstand the transportation of hydrogen gas under high pressures and maintain the integrity of the pipes.
    4. Hydrogen energy equipment protection: Glass fiber composite materials can be used to protect hydrogen energy equipment, such as hydrogen power generation equipment or hydrogen fuel stations. It provides corrosion resistance, heat resistance and pressure resistance to protect equipment from the external environment.
In short, glass fiber plays an important role in the field of hydrogen energy and helps to improve the reliability and safety of hydrogen energy.
